Fans of I'm A Celebrity...Get Me Out of Here were loving Coleen Rooney's suspicions of her campmates and quickly referenced the Wagatha Christie case

Fans of I'm A Celebrity...Get Me Out Of Here were quick to mock Coleen Rooney's suspicions of the Jungle Junkyard.

Maura Higgins and Reverend Richard Coles were late arrivals Down Under, but were thrust into luxury. However, a twist meant they had to lie to the original campmates and try to fool them into what they were dealt with.

After a good start, making campmates fear Maura may even walk, suspicions started to arise. Coleen Rooney was seen moments into Friday's show pondering if they were really struggling as much as they were making out. And that led to fans online having a field day with the Wagatha Christie comparisons.

One user on Twitter /X gushed: "Coleen really is Wagatha Christie isn’t she #ImACeleb," while another wrote: "Course it’s Wagatha Christie Coleen that’s able to rumble them #ImACeleb. Get this woman in the police force, she can solve anything." 

The comments kept on coming, with another joking: "Wagatha Christie is on to them #ImACeleb #imacelebrity," alongside an emoji with an investigating look. A fourth added: "Not Wagatha Christie being first to crack the lie!! You couldn’t write it. This series is perfection #ImACeleb"

Wagatha Christie is the term used for the long-running celebrity feud that went to court between WAG's Coleen and Rebekah Vardy. The celebrity scandal spanned over a five year period and Coleen won a libel case against Vardy in 2022. . Coleen famously accused Rebekah of leaking stories about her with an infamous social media post where she became dubbed Wagatha Christie. Rebekah has strongly denied all allegations. It emerged during the High Court libel trial her former agent, Caroline Watt, may have sold the stories as she had access to Rebekah's Instagram account.

Vardy issued yet another swipe at Rooney. Vardy, who is married to Leicester footballer Jamie Vardy, hasn't held back her thoughts on Coleen following in her footsteps and taking part in the ITV show. She also slammed BBC Radio 1 presenter Dean McCullough for "begging" for tickets to see McFly from campmate Danny Jones and predicted the camp niceties won't last much longer. Radio presenter Melvin Odoom faced the wrath of Rebekah as she banded him a "bore" when he confessed his crush on Carol Vorderman.
