If you think you've got the maths skills of a modern day Einstein, can work well under intense pressure, and have razor-sharp vision - this brainteaser is definitely for you. But, only 10 per cent of those that attempt this seemingly-impossible question are actually victorious, meaning you'll need to be a real genius to be able to crack it.
Puzzles like this aren't just a handy way to pass the time on those long commutes or rainy evenings - they're also a great mental workout. Research has suggested they have a positive impact on your central nervous system and have been shown to improve your concentration levels and attention span.
"Seven men have seven wives," the puzzle reads. "Each man and each wife have seven children. What is the total number of people?"
It may sound pretty straight-forward, but do not be fooled. You can't use a calculator and you'll need to carefully read the puzzle to total up the right answer. We're not giving you any clues - and we'll make things harder by challenging you to complete the task in just 45 seconds. Ready? Set. Go!

- There are seven men
- Each man has one wife, so that means there are seven wives
- Each mine and each wife have seven children. So, 14 people each have seven kids, which equals 98.
