An optical illusion hides a hidden image which just 1% of people will be able to see.

The remaining 99% were left stumped by this tricky hidden image which left those who tried to solve it scratching their heads. Taking on challenging puzzles can improve memory, enhance problem-solving skills and help improve your concentration. They can be a little frustrating when things are a little complicated but ultimately you are training your brain to be better and respond faster each time.

Not all brainteasers can be solved but this one has stumped more than a few people, leaving it near impossible to spot. The optical illusion was presented to followers of Hectic Nick on TikTok, who has left people scratching their heads.

A hidden image can be spotted in these zig-zags

Nick said: "You can only like this video if you can find the hidden image in the picture. Apparently, only one per cent of people can find it - if they can, comment because I can see nothing. Good luck."

The hidden image people should keep their eye out for is a panda, which is somewhere in the image above. While some managed to find the animal hidden in the zig-zag photograph, other users suggested all they could see were balls, rather than the panda.

Advice from those who had completed the puzzle came flooding through too as they revealed how to find the panda. One user suggested you should "shake the screen" to see the outline of a panda while another has said looking down from a certain angle with your phone would reveal the animal.

They wrote: "Just look down at your phone charger and up onto your screen really fast and you will see it." @hecticnick specialises in bringing near-impossible puzzles to members of the public who will need a sharp mind to figure out the optical illusions at play.

These types of games are known to utilise your cognitive skills but are also said to improve focus and the ability to learn. Puzzles can improve your health as they help with neurological stimulation. Although they won’t stop you from getting dementia, other risk factors can have a much bigger impact.
