Only eagled-eyed geniuses can spot holiday items in mind-boggling optical illusion

Tombola experts say the five items Brits simply cannot go holiday without are teabags, a kettle, cleaning products, coffee and slippers. And these items are, which are also the solution to this brain teaser, are all circled in the image above.

If you look at the upper part of the image, as passengers queue up to board their plane, the first image you see shows tea bags in a suitcase. Tombola's survey of 2,000 British adults revealed that over a third - 37 per cent - of them take tea bags with them on holiday as they just "can't manage without them" and they think that "tea just isn't the same abroad."

Those in Belfast are the biggest brew-lovers with half (50 per cent) of residents saying they take tea bags on holiday, closely followed by Cardiff (49 per cent) and Liverpool (45 per cent). One in ten (10 per cent) take their favourite mug to drink out of too, and a further 11 per cent admit to taking this one step further by packing their own kettle. Of those who forget to pack tea bags, over a quarter (27 per cent) named them as their most-missed home comforts when on holiday.

Moving on to the central part of the image, a passenger wearing a pink top and lilac trousers is carrying slippers with her on holiday. And if you look at the lower half of the image, showing passengers going through security screening at the airport, you will find three more hidden items.

On the left side of the image, you can see a man walking through a metal detector - and just next to him, there is a blue suitcase. But if you look carefully, just behind the suitcase there is a cleaning product - which, according to the survey, is one of the top items Brits take on holiday with them.

The survey revealed that a third - 32 per cent - of people admit to packing cleaning products when travelling. After all, there's nothing worse than being faced with dirt and germs when you arrive at your accommodation.

And in the central part of the image, where bags go through the baggage scanner, you will see a kettle on top of a purple suitcase - as 11 per cent of people admitted they bring one with them on holiday. And finally, on the other side of the baggage scanner there is a passenger, holding a coffee, who falls down as the floor is slippery.

Coffee is also one of the items British holidaymakers often take with them abroad, with 24 per cent of people surveyed saying they do this. How did you do? For more information on the findings and packing your favourite items for your next trip, you can visit Tombola's website.
