Emmerdale spoilers: Ruby's secret revealed, Tom's revenge and shock return sealed

Emmerdale viewers will finally find out what Ruby Miligan is hiding in the coming weeks, while spoilers for the ITV soap also tease Tom King twists and a major return is hinted at

Viewers will see new discoveries and twists on Emmerdale, according to new December spoilers.

While one resident's past will be exposed in a special flashback, another character is finding the guilt in covering up their betrayal all too hard to bear. Tom King is still playing games after finally being charged, with him vowing to take revenge on Belle it seems.

A character's return is heavily hinted at as we get closer to finding out who is helping Peter to target Kim Tate. There's a sad decision from one village resident, while we will also see hints of a big Christmas Day storyline.

One key storyline will see Ruby Miligan struggle, as we finally find out what she's hiding. It seems it's linked to her past, as we go back in time to 1992. Amid concern from viewers that she may have been abused or assaulted, with her father Anthony also hiding something, it seems we might finally get answers.

With Ruby making amends with daughter Steph, soon she and Anthony are having conversations too. In a special episode focusing on Ruby when she was a teenager, with the troubled character recalling her 16th birthday and a mystery character named Rob - but what went on and how does he link to present day?

Another secret could come to light next month, as Cain Dingle goes off the rails after cheating on wife Moira with Ruby. Consumed with guilt, he hits the bottle and disappears, leaving Moira to get her hospital results alone.

Cain faces trouble after he becomes agitated when his car is blocked in, and his aggression leads to an arrest. Moira's devastated and doesn't tell him her full results, with her needing more treatment.

Soon Moira is lashing out at her husband over his behaviour and he decides it's time to reveal what he's done - but will he? Elsewhere, Ross Barton is feeling isolated amid his son Moses being scared of him and he soon abandons his plans to reconnect with the youngster.

It's not quite over for Tom King either, and he has a new ally. Spoilers reveal Angelica King will try to help her imprisoned cousin as he finally faces justice for stalking, coercively controlling and attacking his wife Belle.

Angelica is tasked with trying to get her dad Jimmy King to believe his nephew is innocent, and Jimmy soon pays him a visit. Tom turns on the crocodile tears, but Jimmy sees through it and tells him he will only give him a chance if he changes his plea to guilty.

When Angelica is tricked into helping once more, could it backfire on the youngster? Finally there's some big Christmas Day hints, as Will proposes he and Kim renew their wedding vows.

Of course Kim is yet to find out that Will is using her, faking his love for her, or not, as he's teamed up with Peter. It's clear as day that someone is pulling the strings, ordering Peter to take down Kim for them with the help of Will.

The mystery person is not identified and soon Will wants to know exactly who they are. Viewers are already speculating someone from the past is about to make a big return to take down Kim, and more details will be revealed very soon.
