Brokerage firm Muriel Siebert & Co has partnered with tZero to give its account holders access to digital securities. Siebert reports around 170,000 account holders.

According to a release, Siebert will connect tokenized securities and blockchain-enabled financial products to Siebert clients.

John J. Gebbia, CEO of Siebert Financial, said that tokenized securities are an important evolution and that their relationship with tZERO provides the infrastructure to enter this market.

tZERO’s platform supports onboarding, including KYC and AML requirements as well as custody, clearing, settlement, issuance and secondary transactions.

Ralph Daiuto, Chief Legal Officer at Muriel Siebert & Co and Head of Digital Assets Strategy at Siebert, said they can now bridge traditional finance and the digital economy.

Siebert recently announced a partnership with Streamex to offer access to GLDY, a gold-backed, yield-bearing tokenized security.

Alan Konevsky, Chief Executive Officer of tZERO, said they built the platform to help firms like Siebert enter digital markets.

tZero is a pioneer in the regulated digital securities sector. It is approved as a broker-dealer, ATS, Special Purpose BD, transfer agent, and more.
