Honor Win 2 and Win 2 RT get certified

According to the prolific leaker who goes by Digital Chat Station on Weibo, Honor's upcoming Win 2 and Win 2 RT smartphones may have just been certified for sale in China. The Win 2 supports 100W wired charging and the Win 2 RT goes up to 90W. That would be an interesting downgrade for the more affordable model, as the original Win RT supported 100W wired charging too.

Anyway, DCS says the Win 2 will be the only phone released this year to pair Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 6 chipset with a battery over 10,000 mAh, a powerful built-in cooling fan, and an ultra-high refresh rate display with "2K" resolution.

The Win and Win RT got official last December, but with new smartphone launches in China accelerating this year, we wouldn't be surprised if the Win 2 and Win 2 RT are unveiled earlier.

According to previous rumors, the Win 2 has a 6.89-inch OLED screen with a 185Hz refresh rate and an embedded ultrasonic fingerprint scanner. The Win 2 RT will allegedly be powered by the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 SoC.
