More Redmi K100 Pro Max specs revealed ahead of launch

The Redmi K100 Pro series is set to launch in China on August 11. Ahead of the debut, Redmi has revealed several key specifications of the upcoming smartphones, including details about their chipset, display, and more.

Redmi has confirmed that the K100 Pro Max will be powered by the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 chipset, paired with a dedicated D2 display chip.

Last week, the company revealed that the K100 Pro Max will feature a 6.9-inch display. It has now confirmed that the panel will offer a 2K resolution, a 185Hz refresh rate, and use M11 AMOLED luminescent material.

The display is also claimed to reach a peak brightness of up to 4,500 nits.

The Redmi K100 Pro Max retains a design similar to its predecessor, the K90 Pro Max, including the Bose-powered woofer in the rear panel.

Xiaomi has already opened pre-reservations for the Redmi K100 Pro series through its official online store in China. More details about the lineup are expected to be revealed in the coming days.
