If you want quick and easy rewards in Battlefield 6: REDSEC, complete the Extraction mission every time it’s available. It asks almost nothing of you, carries virtually no inherent risks, and takes very little to complete. Here’s how.

How to complete Extraction missions in Battlefield 6: REDSEC

To complete an Extraction mission in BF6: REDSEC, you need to download data from a mission-specific terminal, then carry that data to an exfil point where a drone will collect it. It’s that simple.

The data terminal will appear on your HUD once you accept the mission. Make your way over to it and interact with it to start the download. Stay near the device so you can easily collect the data drive once the download completes.

With the data drive in hand, make your way over to the exfil point marked by yellow smoke.

Forty-five seconds after collecting the drive, a small, yellow drone will appear. The player holding the data drive can interact with the drone to secure the data, completing the mission. Don't let the mission timer reach zero, or it will fail whether you have the data or not.

Your reward crate will drop in shortly after you exfil the data, and will likely contain strike packages like UAVs, armor plates, anti-vehicle ordinance, and so on.

The only real threat the Extraction mission poses is during the exfil process, as the yellow smoke given off at the extraction point is visible from a fair distance away. If enemy teams see it, there’s some chance they’ll come to investigate, forcing a fight between your squad and theirs.

Unlike the Evasion and Decryption missions, however, Extraction carries no other intrinsic PvP risk. There is no counter mission or other mechanic that would bring another squad’s wrath down upon you.

You don’t earn as many or as high-quality rewards as you would with those more dangerous missions, but Extraction is quick, easy, and simple, so you shouldn't expect the best stuff.
