007 First Light becomes IOI's fastest-selling game with 1.5 million in one day
IO Interactive's James Bond game has been an early success for the studio.
by Donovan Erskine · Shacknews007 First Light has only been out for a matter of days, but it’s already proven to be a big hit for developer IO Interactive. Hot off the success of the Hitman trilogy, 007 First Light has sold 1.5 million copies, making it IOI’s fastest-selling title to date.
IO Interactive celebrated the milestone with a post on social media. “Thank you for showing up to the launch of 007 First Light, for your overwhelming enthusiasm and for sharing your experience with the game.”
007 First Light sold more than 1.5 million copies across all platforms in just its first 24 hours. This made it the fastest-selling title in the history of IO Interactive, outpacing even the biggest of Hitman titles over the same time period.
