How to complete Dust on the Wires in ARC Raiders
Dust on the Wires asks a lot of you for an ARC Raiders quest. Here's how to complete it.
by John Schutt · ShacknewsDust on the Wires is a quest that came with the Foundations update to ARC Raiders, and while it isn’t difficult, it’s not quick either. There are a few catches to its lower difficulty, as well, so we’ll cover everything you need to know today.
All steps to complete Dust on the Wires in ARC Raiders
Dust on the Wires takes you to the eastern and southern sections of Spaceport, but you’ll spend most of your time in the south, far from the major points of interest on the map. Note that you need to complete every step in a single round. Returning to Speranza before finishing all of them will force you to do everything over again.
The first step is to find a Field Depot and interact with the computer at one end. One of the closest Depots to the rest of the quest locations is southeast of Container Storage, almost directly east of the checkpoint leading into the main Spaceport grounds.
Interact with the computer terminal there to resend its logs to Shania and progress to the next step.
Now you’re headed north of the Maintenance Hanger, which is southwest of Vehicle Maintenance and straight west of the checkpoint.
You’re looking for a ramshackle Raider tower. The thing is about 100 meters or so north of the Hanger. So long as you don’t deviate too far east or west, you’ll find the thing in due time.
Climb the stairs to the top of the structure and interact with the computer there to progress to the next step.
Head back to the Maintenance Hangar now, and specifically to the dirt road leading south away from it.
There, you’ll need to first transmit the location of the wreckage.
Completing the transmission prompts the final step of the quest, and all you need to do here is take a few additional steps south to search for clues among the overturned cart and blue tarp.
Your search reveals a Scout Patrol Note logbook, which you should immediately put in your Safe Pocket. You need to extract back to Speranza with it in your inventory to complete the quest.
