How to complete Clamoring for Attention in ARC Raiders
Clamoring for Attention is an amusing quest in ARC Raiders that asks for a bit more than you'd expect. Here's how to complete it.
by John Schutt · ShacknewsNew with the Foundation update for ARC Raiders, completing the Clamoring for Attention quest offers something a little different. Ever wanted to make lots of noise to summon the ARC without a Snitch Scanner? Clamoring for Attention is for you. Here’s how it works.
How to complete Clamoring for Attention in ARC Raiders
Clamoring for Attention is a Blue Gate quest, and blessedly, you don’t need to complete all the steps in a single raid. The catch is, every time you complete a step, a few ARC will spawn and hunt you down. The Pops and Fireballs aren’t too threatening, but the deadlier Comets might be.
Where to honk a bus horn at Checkpoint
The first step we’ll cover for Clamoring for Attention is to find and honk a bus horn at Checkpoint. This little bit of interaction is unique to the quest, and thankfully, is easy enough to accomplish.
Head to Checkponit, specifically the area nearest the gate, and find one of the buses. There’s one on the east and west sides of the lines of ruined cars.
Get on the bus and go to the driver’s seat, where you should see a quest marker. Interact with the horn to honk a few times and summon a pair of Comet ARC. Run away or deal with them to complete this step.
Where to find and play the boom box at Village
The boom box you’re looking for is at the far eastern end of the Village, on a bench sitting on a small concrete patio.
You need a single Battery to activate the boom box. It is useless without one, so either bring one from your stash or loot it from elsewhere on The Blue Gate.
Shortly after playing the boom box, a pair of Pops and a Fireball will arrive to investigate. Clear or ignore them as you wish.
Where to find and activate the emergency siren by the Warehouse Complex
In what is probably the hardest to complete step of Clamoring for Attention, you’ll be visiting the Warehouse Complex northeast of Checkpoint. The place is often home to wandering Bombardiers and Rocketeers.
Go to the roof of the northeasternmost part of the Complex. There, you’ll find a yellow-lit klaxon you can repair with three Wires. However, you get the Wires, you can’t complete this step without them.
Oddly, the klaxon doesn’t summon any ARC, or at least didn’t for me. Regardless of which order you complete the steps in, once they’re all done, so is the quest.
