Candle Holders are an uncommon item, until you need them, and then they feel as rare as a Wolfpack Grenade blueprint. If you’re trying to find more to complete the Flicking Flames Project, you need to be looking in the right spots. Here are the best places to find Candle Holders.

Where to find Candle Holders

The Grandioso Apartments on the west side of Buried City has a lot of containers to search for a Candle Holder. Plaza Rosa, in the south, also has a few containers.

You will find Candle Holders in Residential locations. These locations can appear on the map in two ways. Firstly, if the Residential area is a loot zone (yellow or red border), it will be marked with a small icon of a person. Secondly, it will just be labeled using a word that describes somewhere to live: apartment, housing, residence, etc. The best place to find Candle Holders is:

  • Buried City: Grandioso Apartments. Santa Maria Houses & Plaza Rosa
  • Blue Gate: Village, Ruined Homestead, and Abandoned Housing Project
  • Dam Battlegrounds: Pale Apartments and Ruby Residence

It’s going to come down to a lot of luck. I searched the entirety of Grandioso Apartments and didn’t find a single Candle Holder. However, I found one randomly searching a container in Plaza Rosa on the way to extraction. Make sure you bring something with a safe pocket so you can exfil with it even if you die.
