by TJ Denzer · ShacknewsHello Games and Ghost Town Games (developers of Overcooked) revealed a collaboration on this week’s Nintendo Direct, Stage Fright. It’s a co-op platforming adventure set in a spooky world and it’s coming to various platforms including Nintendo Switch and Switch 2 in 2027.
Stage Fright was shown on the September 2026 Nintendo Direct. You can see the trailer just below.
Hello Games has been maintaining No Man’s Sky for more than a decade, but has also taken chances on other games through its publishing arm. Meanwhile, Overcooked has been a chaotic and fun series of co-op cooking that made Ghost Town Games well worth consideration on anything new. Stage Fright looks like an interesting deviation from the usual cooking shenanigans.
With a 2027 release planned, stay tuned to the Hello Games topic for more updates.
