by TJ Denzer · ShacknewsApple unveiled the rebuild of Siri it has been working on with help from Google’s AI teams. It’s called Siri AI, and uses the latest technologies between Apple Intelligence and Google to make the digital assistant into what is supposed to be its most advanced form yet, complete with a standalone app for Siri coming later this year.
Apple gave fans an in-depth look at Siri AI during its WWDC 26 keynote presentation this week. Through the improvements Google and Apple have made to Siri, it can use AI to read what’s on your screen and assist. If you have a picture on your screen, you can ask Siri to figure out where it is. Siri AI can also assist in shopping, email composition, schedule organization, and more.
Siri AI was teased by Apple earlier this year when the company confirmed that it would tap Google Gemini and its expertise to build new AI features on future Apple OS systems. The new Siri AI will be usable on Mac, Apple Watch, iPhones, and Smart Glasses to name a few.
Apple’s MacOS 27 Golden Gate update is coming to the company’s ecosystem of devices later this year, so stay tuned to the Apple topic for more updates and news.
