Queen's Domain brings the spirit of King's Field to PC & consoles in October

Queen's Domain is a first-person fantasy action RPG based on the style of FromSoftware's classic King's Field series.

An indie action-RPG attempting to capture the spirit of FromSoftware’s 1990s first-person RPG series King’s Field is coming out next month. Queen’s Domain comes from Freshly Baked Games, published by Future Friends Games, and it will be launching on October 30 on PC, PS5, Xbox Series X/S, and Nintendo Switch 2.

Freshly Baked Games announced the release date of Queen’s Domain in a Steam developer blog update. It has a new gameplay trailer that can be seen just below.

Queen’s Domain wears its inspirations on its sleeve. It’s not just that Queen’s Domain is a clever play on King’s Field. It seems to match the visuals, UI, challenging combat, and more of those original FromSoftware titles. It’s certainly a style left untapped for quite some time. FromSoftware has long moved on from the King’s Field series and it’s not often we get a new first-person game that mimics older action-RPGs. And as an entirely original game, Queen’s Domain will offer a new experience in that familiar style with its own interconnected island filled with hidden secrets.
