Broadcom (AVGO) Q3 FY26 earnings results beat revenue & miss on EPS whisper number
American semiconductor and tech infrastructure company Broadcom saw increased demand for AI components and networking tech in its latest quarter.
by TJ Denzer · ShacknewsContinuing through the back end of the summer season, American semiconductor and tech infrastructure firm Broadcom (AVGO) has announced its Q3 FY26 earnings results. The company posted wins on its revenue, but couldn’t quite beat earnings-per-share (EPS) Whisper Number expectations for the quarter.
Broadcom posted its Q3 2026 results on its investor relations website. The group put up a revenue of $29.6 billion, which narrowly beat out the Wall Street consensus estimate of $29.47 billion. Its EPS was good enough to beat the Wall Street estimates as well as $3.32 per share over expectations of $3.22 per share. It wasn’t, however, able to beat the Earnings Whisper estimate of $3.35 per share.

Like many companies currently engaged in semiconductor, tech component, and infrastructure manufacturing, Broadcom’s business boomed on the back of demand for AI technology. In particular, Broadcom attributed a large share of its revenue to the sale of accelerator chips and networking solutions for AI infrastructure and data centers. In fact, according to the release, “AI semiconductor revenue of $16.7 billion grew 221% year-over-year,” according to CEO Hock Tan.
