Where to get Titanium in Subnautica 2

The first step on the journey.

by · Shacknews

If you have just awoken in your Subnautica 2 lifepod, then have no fear. Well, you should have a lot of fear as you are now on an alien planet, in need of a lot of resources, and you have no idea where to find them. The first thing you need to get your hands on is Titantium, and this is where to get it.

Where to get Titanium in Subnautica 2

Below you will find a few different options for sources of Titaniam.

Near the lifepod

To find Titanium, all you need to do is jump out of your life pod and into the ocean. All your self to do is drop down to the bottom, it's not too far here, and start scouring the sea floor. You should be able to find some grey-looking lumps of metal pretty close to the pod; they're Titanium.

To harvest it, all you need to do is interact with the lump, then break it with your hand to add the piece to your inventory. Keep looking around, and you will be able to find even more, but overall, supplies here will be a little limited.

Metal Salvage

If you find large sheets of metal on the ocean floor, you can grab them, bring them back to your lifepod, and then use the Fabricator to convert them into titanium. You will get four pieces of titanium from each sheet.

300 meters northeast of the lifepod

This is a great place to explore in the early game, as you have wreckage, natural resources, and lots to farm, including plenty of titanium. It is 40 to 60 meters down, which is kind of deep early, so watch your oxygen if you head here too soon.
