Kim Kaphwan comes to Fatal Fury: City of the Wolves later this September

Fatal Fury's original Taekwondo specialist returns to round out the Kim house of clean kicks.

It’s getting to be that time of month when SNK shares the details of its next DLC character for Fatal Fury: City of the Wolves, and sure enough, Kim Kaphwan has a release date and a gameplay trailer to show for it.

Kim Kaphwan will come to Fatal Fury: City of the Wolves on September 24, 2026, arriving on all available platforms as part of Season Pass 3. You can see him in action below.

Kim Kaphwan is Fatal Fury’s original Taekwondo specialist, and just an all-around fan favorite. Since his arrival in Fatal Fury 2 in 1992, he’s been all over SNK’s fighting game rosters, often leading the Korean Team in King of Fighters games. His kids, Kim Dong Hwan and Kim Jae Hoon, were already in Fatal Fury: City of the Wolves with their own variations of his move list, so it will be interesting to see how SNK differentiates Kaphwan from the rest of the family.
