Dragon Quest Monsters: The Withered World gets December 2026 release date

Nintendo got to play host to the newest details for the latest creature collector spinoff in the Dragon Quest series.

Dragon Quest Monsters: The Withered World made have made its debut reveal on the recent Dragon Quest Anniversary livestream, but it got its release date at the Nintendo Direct June 2026 presentation this week. It’s coming out on December 3, 2026 on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S, PC, and Nintendo Switch 2.

Dragon Quest Monsters: The Withered World made its debut appearance recently with an announcement on the series’ 40th anniversary livestream. It presents the latest adventure in which players will battle and capture iconic Dragon Quest monsters and pit them against other monsters, as well as raising and strengthening them. It also uses characters from Dragon Quest 5: Hand of the Heavenly Bride such as Bianca and Nera.
