How to get the Assessor Matrix in ARC Raiders

Getting an Assessor Matric in ARC Raiders is one of the simplest, most difficult things to do in the game. Here's how you get them.

The Assessor Matrix is another hot loot chase that came with the Flashpoint update to ARC Raiders, and you’ll be working overtime if you want even one of them. You’ll be fighting both ARC and other raiders for the privilege of looting them, and here’s how to do it.

How to get an Assessor Matrix in ARC Raiders

Getting an Assessor Matrix is simple. When you see the red light beams shoot into the sky during a Close Scrutiny event, beeline it to the Assessor that just landed.

Then, be the first to breach and loot one of the three conical structures once a small platform appears at one of their bases. If you claim the Assessor Matrix — and put it immediately into your safe pocket — congratulations! Now comes the fun part.

The catch to getting Assessor Matrices is that, beyond only having three lootable containers per Assessor, the instant you start breaching, Rocketeers and somehow even deadlier Vaporizors will appear.

You don’t need to defeat any of the ARC guards that appear, but getting any distance away from the Assessor with them around is a tall order.

For the best possible chance at an Assessor Matrix in what’s bound to be a crowded lobby, you’ll want the following:

• A Photoelectric Cloak to temporarily hide from the ARC
• Smoke grenades to hide from the ARC
• A metric ton of healing items
• Medium shields
• Lots and lots of Adrenaline Shots to reach the Assessors more quickly
• A Hullcracker or other powerful anti-ARC weapon for taking on the bots

No matter how you slice it, if you’re late to an Assessor and the enemies are around, you’ll have to fight your way through. If you get there fast, put up the Photoelectric Cloak, smoke the conical structures, and breach. Then pray you have the few extra seconds you need to get the loot out of the container and into your Safe Pocket.

Simple, yes. Easy? By no means. Expect to violently return to Speranza at least a few times.
