Way of the Hunter 2 enters Steam Early Access on March 26

Nine Rock Games is set to bring Way of the Hunter 2 to Canada with its New Laurentia map.

Next week, Nine Rocks Games and THQ Nordic will be launching Way of the Hunter 2 in Steam Early Access. The devs are letting fans dip their toes into the latest version of its hunting sandbox and be part of the continued growth of the game.

Nine Rock Games shared the details on the early access release of Way of the Hunter 2 with a new trailer this week, as well as a Steam developer blog post sharing more details. Way of the Hunter 2 will launch into Steam Early Access on March 26, 2026. Building on feedback gathered across the life of the first game, Way of the Hunter 2 promises to be one of the most immersive hunting sandboxes ever released.

Way of the Hunter 2 is coming out of the gate in its early access launch with an exciting new biome, the New Laurentia map. It takes players to a Canadian-inspired wilderness full of game animals to pursue throughout its verdant ecosystem.
