Friday's Day of the Devs: Summer Game Fest Edition 2026 presentation continued with a look at the upcoming 33 Immortals. The team at Thunder Lotus popped up during the show to offer an update on its 33-player roguelike, which is currently available in an Early Access state on the Epic Games Store and Xbox platforms. The game's next step is its 1.0 update, which will take the Early Access label off. That update is just days away.

It has been roughly three years since 33 Immortals was unveiled at the 2023 Xbox Games Showcase. The game sees 33 damned souls all band together via online co-op to climb through the various stages of Hell en route to taking on the Wrath of God in hopes of escaping the inferno and getting into Heaven. It's certainly not easy, as last year's preview will indicate.

Look for 33 Immortals to get its 1.0 update on Wednesday, June 10 on PC and Xbox Series X|S. It should be noted that this date will also mark the game's official debut on Steam, though there is a Steam demo currently available. All progress from that will carry over to the game's full release.
