Sony raises prices on refurbished PS5 Slim models
Refurbished Disc Drive PS5 Slims went from $449.99 to $549.99 USD, while the refurbished Digital PS5 Slim went from $399.99 to $499.99 USD.

The price changes on Sony’s Certified Refurbished PlayStation 5 Slims were spotted by HazzadorGamin, but have been confirmed on the store itself. The Certified Refurbished Disc PS5 Console went from $449.99 to $549.99 USD. Meanwhile, the Certified Refurbished Digital PS5 Console went from $399.99 to $499.99 USD.

It was just at the end of March 2026 that Sony had raised the prices on all of its regular models of PS5. Refurbished models were a way to trim a few bucks off by gambling on a machine that had been used, but was certified to have fully working parts.
The refurbished price hike looks like even the cheaper models are catching issues from overall tech price increases and constraints. As we watch for updates, stay tuned to the PS5 topic for news and coverage.
