Sonic Racing: CrossWorlds isn't just getting Mega Man, it also getting a Wily's Castle track
Mega Man, the Wily's Castle track, and the Wily's Castle remix will all be available next week as part of the game's Season Pass DLC.
by TJ Denzer · ShacknewsThis coming week, Capcom and Sega are bringing Mega Man to Sonic Racing: CrossWorlds as part of its Season Pass DLC, and today they revealed a new track that will come with it. It’s none other than Mega Man villain Dr. Wily’s Castle, and it’ll be an all-new track with stellar new music to race on when the pack launches next Wednesday.
Sega shared the full details of the Wily’s Castle track in a new video on social media. On March 26, 2026, the Mega Man DLC pack will launch as a standalone DLC, or at no extra cost for Season Pass holders. It includes Mega Man as a racer, but today, Sega revealed it also includes the Wily’s Castle track, complete with a remix of the original Wily’s Castle theme that you simply have to hear if you’re a fan.
The Wily’s Castle music alone is a great addition to this DLC. It was composed by the Capcom Sound Team and arranged by composer Takahiro Kai, but the race track is also looking quite fun. It features tons of nods to Mega Man’s universe, including the Met Bots, Mega Buster item pickups, and the Yellow Devil as a road hazard.
This collaboration comes at a wonderful time as Capcom has already revealed the next Mega Man game, Dual Override, and has been steadily working towards a hopeful launch in 2027. Sonic Racing: CrossWorlds has also been a great time, offering a solid multiplatform alternative to Mario Kart World and impressing Senior Editor Ozzie Mejia in review.
With the Mega Man content coming to Sonic Racing: CrossWorlds next week, it looks like the races are only getting better. Stay tuned to the CrossWorlds topic for more news and updates.
