Where to find Sentinel Firing Cores - ARC Raiders

You're going to need a lot of Sentinel Firing Cores to upgrade your Gunsmith in ARC Raiders.

Sentinel Firing Cores are one of the resources you need to upgrade your Gunsmith in ARC Raiders. You might also need them for a quest, Trial, or some other activity. Besides, they can always be broken down into ARC Alloy and Mechanical Components. The tricky part is actually finding Sentinel Firing Cores.

Where to find Sentinel Firing Cores

Sentinel Firing Cores are found in Sentinel turrets. These are the turrets that are attached to buildings, sitting on walls, and overlooking areas of the maps. They are easy to spot by the laser they beam out when targeting you. Once locked on, they fire a sniper round that can easily blast through a light shield and the majority of your health. Sentinels are not to be confused with the standard turrets that use automatic weapons.

There is almost always a Sentinel turret high up on the destroyed part of the dam wall overlooking the Hydroponic Dome Complex.

Attack it from the north, as shooting it from the open field is a sure-fire way to get yourself sniped.

The Sentinels are dotted around most maps, but the easiest one to find is on Dam Battlegrounds. There is always a Sentinel on the dam wall overlooking Hydroponic Dome Complex, set between The Breach and Pipeline Tower. Another is in the middle of Buried City, on top of Town Hall.

There’s really no trick to destroying a Sentinel, but a Ferro can knock them out in a few rounds, or get close and burst it down with another weapon. The difficulty will be avoiding getting sniped. Step out, make the shot, and then duck behind cover before the four beams of yellow laser converge on your position.
