How to get Cooling Coils in ARC Raiders

Knowing where to find Cooling Coils in ARC Raiders gives you a line on one of the rarer but still valuable items in the game.

There are hundreds of items like Cooling Coils to collect in ARC raiders, whether it’s for Expeditions, crafting, recycling into materials, or just because. Thankfully, most maps have at least one location where you can get your hands on Cooling Coils, and we’ll show all those locations today.

Where to find Cooling Coils in ARC Raiders

Like all items in ARC Raiders, Cooling Coils primarily come from a specific type of loot zone: Industrial loot zones, in this case. Every map in the game, save the Buried City, is home to at least one such Industrial point of interest.

While you’re in these areas, you’ll primarily want to breach the rusted cubic containers, as well as any electronic panels on the walls. Think the ones you find in the Power Generation Compex on Dam Battlegrounds or in the underground of Spaceport.

I’ve had some luck finding Cooling Coils in red lockers in and around Water Treatment Control or at the small outbuildings near Raider Hatches. Be sure to also check industrial-style locations at the edges of the maps, including Jiangsu Warehouse on Spaceport, the Abandoned Housing Project on Blue Gate, or the warehouses on the outskirts of Buried City.

As Cooling Coils are a blue-rarity item, they’re a bit harder to come by than other materials, so to up your chances, go into locked rooms or rooms sealed by a breachable bar. These rooms will almost always have higher-quality loot than those locations that aren’t as solidly sealed.

You’ll want to fully clear each POI, or as fully as possible. How much you can carry out will, of course, depend on your Augment inventory size. You can hold multiple Cooling Coils at a time, so load up on them if you find them. Put some in your Safe Pocket if you have to get them back to Speranza.
