How to get Toasters in ARC Raiders

Toasters are one of the easier recyclable items to find in ARC Raiders, and you'll find out the best places to look right here.

The humble toaster can be a valuable asset in ARC Raider, whether it is something to sell, recycle, or contribute as part of Expedition requirements. They’re thankfully incredibly easy to come by, and at one location in particular, you can sneeze, and three toasters will fall into your lap.

Where to find Toasters in ARC Raiders

Toasters are a Residential loot item, so theoretically, you can find them at any Residential loot location in the game. Buried City is chock full of such points of interest. However, Residential loot comes from a fairly large pool, so you’ll want to focus your search for the best chance at a toaster.

For my money, the best place to find toasters in ARC Raiders is the Ruby Residences in northwestern Dam Battlegrounds. I can count on one hand when looting there didn’t yield at least one toaster, and I found two in one raid during my testing for this article.

You’re most likely to find toasters in the cabinets in the first room of each apartment. I’ve also occasionally seen them from the drawers in the kitchen, but rarely anywhere else. You’ll almost always find a single one per cabinet, so you have two or maybe three chances per apartment.

There are three buildings in the Ruby Residences, meaning you have six apartments to search, for up to maybe 18 toasters per run. I haven’t been as lucky finding toasters in the Pale Apartments south of the Ruby Residences, but they share the same cabinets, so logic would dictate you have a good chance if you look there as well.

If you’re not running Dam Battlegrounds or spawned in late or at the exact opposite end of Dam, two other maps have Residential loot locations to search:

Buried City

• Grandioso Apartments
• Santa Maria Houses
• Red Tower

The Blue Gate

• Ruined Homestead
• Raider’s Refuge
• Village

Don’t lose heart if you do head into Dam Battlegrounds late or on the wrong end of the map. I’ve seen toasters left behind in the Ruby Residences, even near the end of the round. It never hurts to check.
