Dune: Awakening Chapter 3 free update & Raiders of the Broken Lands DLC announced

Chapter 3 will revamp the Landsraad system, faction ranks, and more while Raiders of the Broken Lands brings a wealth of new building props.

Funcom launched Dune: Awakening earlier this year, and since it launched, the team has taken in feedback and tried to meet its community’s wants in patches and content updates following. The next big thing for Dune: Awakening is around the corner in 2026, though. Funcom has announced Dune: Awakening Chapter 3 free content that will overhaul core systems, as well as the Raiders of the Broken Lands DLC that will bring all sorts of new building props and options to the game alongside other features.

Funcom announced the details of Chapter 3 and Raiders of the Broken Lands on the game’s social media this week. The Chapter 3 content will be free updates that bring a wide variety of adjustments, new content, and system overhauls to the game. The end-game Landsraad system will be fully adjusted, as well as Faction Ranks, Specialization, and Augmentation Progression. New weapons, vehicles, and story content will also be coming to the game to give everyone more to do and explore.

The Raiders of the Broken Lands DLC will be a paid DLC, and its main emphasis is on giving the builders and constructors more to create with in their industrial endeavors. The main meat of the DLC is around 74 new Smuggler-themed building pieces to mix and mesh into your outposts. Meanwhile, Smuggler weapon variants, a Raider-styled Buggy, decorations, and gear will also be coming to let you bring a full smuggler’s touch to all facets of your life on Arrakis.
