How to send ships out with Fleet Planning - Assassin's Creed Black Flag Resynced
Earn more resources by putting your captured ships to work.
by Sam Chandler · ShacknewsFleet Planning is back in Black Flag Resynced and it’s an excellent way to gather resources and earn more money. Before you can start earning resources passively, you will need to put in a bit of active work, namely capturing ships and sending them out.
Fleet Planning
Fleet Planning unlocks when you reach Great Inagua. It’s here you can get your first taste of the Fleet Planning table, found in the mansion, which you will also unlock in the captain’s quarters aboard the Jackdaw later on.
Approach the table and interact with the Fleet Planning prompt. The new screen will show a map of the islands, with various sections locked. As the tooltip states: Capture one of the forts to unlock an area.
With a fort captured, go to the Fleet Planning table and select one of the targets. A mission can only be attempted by a specific ship type. At this point, you must neutralize enemy ships, board them, and choose the option to send them to Kenway’s fleet. This will add ships to your collection. You can only have three ships at first, with additional slots in the fleet purchasable for 5,000 reales.
It’s a good idea to get one ship of each type. Try to acquire a Schooner, Brig, Frigate, and a Man O’ War so you can attempt all types of missions. In addition to this, take down forts in a sector to reduce the amount of damage your fleet will suffer while on a mission. Finally, each mission type takes a certain amount of time – check back in at the Fleet Planning table after the allotted time passes to claim your rewards or patch your damaged vessels.
The Fleet Planning in Black Flag Resynced is a perfect way to gain more resources. As you sail across the sea, take down any forts you encounter to expand where you can send your ships. Keep your eyes peeled for those Man O’ Wars too, as you’ll want them for your fleet. Stay tuned to our Black Flag Resynced page for more help.
