Where to use the Stella Montis Archives Key in ARC Raiders
by John Schutt · ShacknewsSome keys are worth using in ARC Raiders. Others less so. Then there are those like the Stella Montis Archives Key, where its use is non-negotiable. You get it, you use it, you profit, provided you survive. Here’s where you should use the Key and what riches await behind its door.
Where to use the Stella Montis Archives Key in ARC Raiders
The door unlocked by the Stella Montis Archives Key is one of the most conspicuous in the game. It’s located at the far northeastern edge of the Cultural Archives.
The door in question is a massive supply bay door, which makes an awful racket when opened. Given the Archives’ status as a high-value loot area, you’re bound to run into at least one other raider or team either in it or on your way there.
You’ll also need to contend with the Shredders that roam the Archives, though they’re a much smaller threat than roving bands of PvP-hungry raiders.
Once you enter the room behind the Stella Montis Archives Key door, you’ll find the following:
- Six incredibly high-value table drawers that can have endgame blueprints
- A blue valuables suitcase with almost more items than you can carry
- Several breachable boxes with various materials
- At least one computer you can loot for basic electronic items
- Loose Medical and Mechanical loot
My use of the key not only awarded the Aphelion and purple Battle (Defensive) Augment, but also more valuables and materials than a purple Looting Augment could carry.
Speaking in pure dollars and cents, I entered the room with about 45,000 Coin in gear, and I left with over 95,000, a profit of more than 50,000 Coin. Had I dropped more of the spare ammo and meds I came in with, that value would easily balloon past 60,000 Coin.
Even then, I doubt I could fit all the goodies I found.
The Stella Montis Archives Key is the only one I can wholeheartedly recommend for a team to use. There’s simply too much loot for a single raider to carry. Surviving is quite a bit harder in squad play, of course, but the disparity between the potential profit of a solo and a squad is just as significant.
