How to get the Soul Spear in Crimson Desert
A ghostly presence.
by Aidan O'Brien · ShacknewsThe Soul Spear is one of the coolest weapons in Crimson Desert. This ethereal spear is tough to get, but worth the effort, as how many times will you get to beat up enemies with a ghost stick? If you want to add the Soul Spear to your arsenal, then this is where to go to get it.
How to get the Soul Spear in Crimson Desert
The Soul Spear is found in the Antumbral Ritual Grounds, a deep, cavernous temple located in Hernand. Make your way into the mountainous region, head straight for the middle of the gap in the "H" in Hernand on the map. The entrance can be tough to spot, but it is located in the walls of a sheer cliff at the point shown on the map above.
Make your way to the entrance, but before you head inside, prepare to fight. This ruin is crawling with enemies, including a frustrating floating mage who hits you with projectiles. Now, I was lucky here because I have the Darkbringer, and it will create orbs that fire lasers at enemies, including flying ones. This made my descent into the ruin a good deal easier, but I imagine it will be very frustrating without a solid long-range weapon.
Fight your way down to the second-to-last level, where you will find the Soul Spear in a room marked by a white dot. This is actually the only treasure I could find in the entire room, but I did spend a lot of time trying not to die, so my environmental awareness may have been affected by that, frankly.
When you get to the room with the spear in it, put away your weapon and stand in front of it to be able to interact with it and grab it for yourself. The Soul Spear comes with a very high base attack of 27, and will also unleash projectiles against enemies when you kill something, but they seem to struggle to track flying foes as well as the Darkbringer does.
