Hades 2 mod brings the first game's encounters & bosses to the sequel

If you ever wanted to take on the challenges Zagreus faced in the first Hades as Melinoe in Hades 2, this mod makes it possible.

Recently, Supergiant itself highlighted a user-created mod that brought the challenges of its first Hades game to the sequel, Hades 2. Through this mod, you can take on enemies like the Furies, the Bone Hydra, Thessius, Asterion, and that version of Hades himself, but as Melinoe instead of Zagreus.

The "Hades in Hades II" mod was made by NikkelM, who shared its release in a recent trailer alongside posted instructions on how to run it.

This mod allows players to play many of the original Hades encounters as Melinoe, with all of her improved Hades 2 powers, abilities, and perks. Not only does it include the bosses, but it also includes many of the enemies and challenge rooms that were in the original. Of course, you’ll still ultimately face those original bosses as well.

Many players love Hades 2, but there’s also a lot of folks who prefer the original for one reason or another. This mod offers the best of both worlds. It would probably be a bit harder to bring Zagreus to Hades 2, but we very much enjoyed the first game, and we certainly continued to enjoy the second.
