How to complete the Wreckage mission in Battlefield 6: REDSEC
Wreckage is one of the most rewarding missions in Battlefield 6: REDSEC, especially given its simplicity. Here's how to complete it.
by John Schutt · ShacknewsThe Wreckage mission can be one of the most valuable to complete early in a match of Battlefield 6: REDSEC. The reward can be a literal game-changer, for as quickly and easily as you can finish the mission, but nothing good in life comes without risk, and the same is true here.
How to complete the Wreckage mission in Battlefield 6: REDSEC
If you’ve played the Rush mode in BF6 multiplayer, you know how Wreckage works. To complete the mission, you need to pick up a bomb and plant it at a nearby M-COM station. From there, you have to defend the bomb until it detonates.
Blowing up the objective completes the Wreckage mission, and for your efforts, you can get a Custom Loadout drop, allowing you to bring in a weapon custom-built for endgame PvP.
Both the bomb you need to pick up and the M-COM station will be marked on your HUD once you start the mission, but beware: Wreckage comes with an inherent risk of PvP. Not only that, enemy squads will be able to see the custom loadout drop coming in from a fair distance, so you might get more fighting than you bargained for.
That said, I’d recommend always completing Wreckage when it's available. It doesn’t take particularly long to finish, especially if you work together. Moreover, you can use it as a way to lure in unsuspecting enemy squads for you to eliminate and loot.
The sooner you get Wreckage, the sooner you can get at least one custom loadout. I’ve had good luck getting the mission at The Sear in the eastern portion of the map, and that area has historically been a lower-threat zone for me. You can loot up the various chests there, and I’ve consistently found both a Weapons Cache and a vehicle keycard mission there.
