Mrs. Devorah Leah Reiter, a devoted Shlucha in Long Island, who inspired many through her strength and unwavering Emunah in the face of challenges, passed away on Thursday.

She was 47 and batted an illness.
Mrs. Reiter (nee Gottlieb), together with her husband, Rabbi Yaakov Reiter, led Chabad of Roslyn on Long Island, and served the community for many years.
Mrs. Reiter played a central role in the growth of Chabad activities in the area, helping lead programs, camps, and community initiatives with dedication and care.
In recent years, Mrs. Reiter touched thousands through her courageous public sharing of her battle with illness. In a widely viewed video interview titled “Beyond the Diagnosis: A Cancer Journey of Faith, Courage and Purpose,” she spoke openly about facing challenges with faith and purpose, bringing comfort and inspiration to many around the world. She spoke last year at the International Kinus Hashluchos in New York, inspiring all who heard her story.
The Levaya will take place on Friday, passing by 770 at 12 pm and burial at Old Montefiore Cemetery at 1 pm.
