by COLlive Editor · COLliveThe newly expanded Beis Medrash at Lubavitch World Headquarters has already welcomed its first mispallel – a Viznitzer chossid who was among the contractors working on the project.
On Thursday morning, 25 Cheshvan, the worker put on tallis and tefillin and davened Shacharis in the spacious new hall, becoming the first to do so since the expansion was completed.
A photo from the scene shows him standing in the newly furnished Beis Medrash, surrounded by the new tables, as finishing touches are still being completed.
The expansion, located directly behind 770 Eastern Parkway, adds thousands of square feet of space for learning and davening, just as thousands of shluchim and guests arrive in Crown Heights for the Kinus Hashluchim.
