Shabbos Programs at Levi Yitzchok Library Continue

This Shabbos, a Mesibos Shabbos for boys and morning Tehillim program for girls will take place at the Levi Yitzchok Library in Crown Heights, dedicated in honor of the 5th Yartzeit of Rabbi Shmarya Katzen OBM, who led the Mesibos Shabbos in 770 for decades.

Although we don’t bentch the Chodesh on Shabbos Mevorchim Tishrei, we still say Tehillim. This Shabbos, at 10:30 AM, all sixth grade girls are welcome to join a special program to say Tehillim and enjoy light refreshments.

To continue the success, the Levi Yitzchok Library will host a Mesibos Shabbos at 5:00 – 6:00 PM, this time for all fifth grade boys. Featured this week to share a story and inspiration, is Sholom Ber Gerlitzky, head counselor of CGI Montreal.

Levi Yitzchok Library is located at 305 Kingston Avenue, between Union and Eastern Parkway.

We would like to thank the family of Rabbi Shmarya Katzen obm for dedicating this week’s programs in honor of Rabbi Katzen, a beloved educator who was known, amongst other things, for leading the Mesibos Shabbos at 770 for decades.
