Towards the end of one of the most challenging years ever in the Israeli travel industry, Shmulik Kravitsky, owner of Sky2000 Travel in New York, visited airline industry executives in Israel.

Kravitsky, who was in Israel for a visit with family, seized the opportunity to extend blessings for the New Year to the managements of El Al Airlines, Sun-Dor Airlines, and Fattal Private Terminal, wishing them success and prosperity in the coming year.

Kravitsky met with Dina Ben Tal Ganancia, the CEO of El Al, Gal Gershon, CEO of the Israeli airline Sun-Dor and Shani Shiferman Gur, CEO of Fattal Private Terminal.

He presented each of them with a green apple-shaped honey dish, crafted from sugar, each a handmade masterpiece created by renowned sugar blower artist Liora Kutner.

During the meetings, they discussed the great challenges the Israeli airline industry faced this year with the current war, constant rocket attacks, and travel restrictions from many airlines.

“We are all praying that next year will be better, with safety and peace in Israel,” Kravitsky said. “I wanted to thank the airline executives for their assistance this year, as they spared no effort to accommodate travelers, find seats when needed, and really give the best possible service they could during these difficult times.”
