New Shluchim to Santa Fe, Argentina
Rabbi Shamai and Devo Chein will be moving on shlichus to Santa Fe, Argentina, to establish its first Chabad house serving more than 3,000 Yidden.
by COLlive Editor · COLliveRabbi Shamai and Devo Chein, together with their daughter Chana, are preparing to move on shlichus to Santa Fe, Argentina, joining the Rebbe’s army of shluchim in bringing the light of Torah and Chassidus to another corner of the world.
Home to more than 3,000 Yidden, Santa Fe holds tremendous potential for hafatzas haYahadus and hafatzas hamaayanos. The new shluchim will work to establish a warm address for every Yid in the city and surrounding areas.
Plans include minyanim, shiurim for men and women, children’s programs, activities for teens, and Shabbos and Yom Tov meals. They will also work to make kosher food more readily available and advance plans for a kosher mikvah.
