It has become a common sight to see men and young Bochurim heading out on Mivtzoim, proudly carrying their sets of Daled Minim. There are various Sukkah Mobiles, and groups taking the subway to different locations throughout the city. As the sun begins to set, young men could often be seen emerging from the subway station in front of 770, clutching their Esrog and Lulav sets as they return from another day of Mivtzoim.
Today, as we draw ever closer to the revelation and coming of Moshiach, the spread of Yiddishkeit and Chassidus has reached new heights. In recent years, an increasing number of girls and young women have begun going out on Mivtza Lulav throughout the New York area. As a result, thousands of Jewish women and girls have had the privilege of making a bracha and shaking the Lulav during Sukkos, thanks to the dedicated girls and women who devote their Chol Hamoed to being Mezakeh fellow Yidden with this beautiful mitzvah.
Making all of this possible is the incredible dedication of The Mivtzoim Shop by Lubavitch Youth Organization. They provide Esrog and Lulav sets, along with all the necessary materials for girls, women and families who want to go on Mivtzoim!
You don’t need to own your own set. All you need to do is show up and be part of Mivtza Lulav!
