On Sunday, the first night of Chol Hamoed Sukkot, over 5,000 people gathered at 770 Chabad Gate for a Unity Simchas Beis Hashoeva—a night filled with music, joy, and a powerful sense of togetherness. This unique event brought members from over 30 different communities across Toronto to celebrate as one.
The evening featured inspiring performances by Avraham Fried and Joey Newcomb, whose boundless energy and talent kept the crowd singing and dancing well into the night. Attendees also enjoyed the presence of Rabbi B and a skilled Mentalist, whose captivating performance added an element of intrigue and excitement to the celebration.
Thanks to the dedicated efforts of Levi Ackermann, Dovid Rodov, and Rabbi Moshe Spalter, this year’s event was seamlessly organized, with collaboration alongside the city and local police to ensure a secure and welcoming environment for all. Shomrim Toronto was also on hand to provide additional support, allowing families and friends to celebrate in safety and comfort.
