A Chabad high school student struggling with anxiety. A shliach trying to determine the Rebbe’s opinion on gender roles. A beginner for whom an original teaching of the Rebbe in Hebrew or Yiddish is not yet an option. From academic researchers to mothers, from bochurim in Lubavitcher yeshivos to balebatim in shuls across the world — all can now find the Rebbe’s guidance in his own English letters, at RebbeResponsa.com.

Launched just in time for the Kinus, RebbeResponsa.com brings over 5,500 of the Rebbe’s English letters to the web, free to read. Letters can be searched, browsed by topic, person and date, and shared with a link, straight from any browser, without needing an app.

“For shluchim, the website has special relevance,” said Shimon Gansburg of the Rebbe Responsa team. “Many of the Rebbe’s English letters were written to people with little background in Judaism, the very people shluchim reach every day. In these letters, the Rebbe explains Yiddishkeit in terms such readers can relate to. A shliach can now find what the Rebbe wrote to someone in a similar situation and share it with a member of his community with a single link. More broadly, the letters help a shliach understand how the Rebbe communicated with the kind of people in his own community.”

The collection is the work of Rebbe Responsa, a project that since 2022 has gathered thousands of the Rebbe’s English letters previously scattered across books, private archives and collections, alongside hundreds of newly uncovered, unpublished letters. Beyond gathering the letters, Rebbe Responsa brings them to life, with background on the recipients and the circumstances surrounding the letters, giving readers a fuller understanding of what the Rebbe was responding to. Until now, the collection was available only through the Rebbe Responsa app. The project also publishes weekly booklets of selected letters for communities around the world.

The website features an entirely new interface, with updated collections and organization. More updates are on the way, including an interactive AI search feature.

“We recognize that the world of technology is constantly growing and evolving,” said Chaim Muss of the Rebbe Responsa team, “underscoring the imperative to share the Rebbe’s teachings more widely than ever before. When our app launched four years ago, it was cutting-edge, but we have continuously pursued growth and development. This new website — and especially the much-anticipated AI search feature — will, b’ezras Hashem, make the Rebbe’s teachings available to every single Yid.”

On the website, visitors can explore the Rebbe’s correspondence across a remarkable range of subjects, including marriage, parenting, health, livelihood, faith, education, and personal growth. Whether searching for guidance on a particular matter or simply looking for something meaningful to learn, the collection offers an opportunity to discover the Rebbe’s words and insights firsthand.

English. Original. More accessible than ever before.
