Morristown Menahel Surprised With Gift at Chag HaSiyum
A special Chag HaSiyum was held on Tuesday at Tomchei Temimim Yeshiva in Morristown, celebrating the outstanding accomplishments of the bochurim who participated in this year’s Mivtza Torah program. A highlight was a surprise gift for the menahel Rabbi Chaim Schapiro.
by COLlive Editor · COLliveA special Chag HaSiyum was held on Tuesday at Tomchei Temimim Yeshiva in Morristown, celebrating the outstanding accomplishments of the bochurim who participated in this year’s Mivtza Torah program.
The event marked the culmination of Mivtza Torah, led by Rosh Yeshiva Rabbi Sholom Spalter, and featured the presentation of awards to bochurim who excelled in the Halacha B’Iyun track under the guidance of the renowned maggid shiur, Rabbi Aharon Dovid Gancz.
The program was held under the auspices of Rabbi Mendy Herson, dean of the yeshiva and head shliach of New Jersey.
Special recognition was also given to the bochurim who devoted countless hours throughout the year to operating the yeshiva’s Mivtzoim Office and producing the Maareches Ha’aros. In appreciation of their dedication and commitment, they were presented with special gifts.
A highlight of the evening came when the bochurim surprised the menahel, Rabbi Chaim Schapiro, with a complete large-format Hebrew edition of the ArtScroll Shas. The gift was presented as a token of gratitude for his tireless dedication and unwavering devotion to the yeshiva and its talmidim.
