A search through old family archives in Crown Heights has led to the discovery of a remarkable Chassidic treasure: two Hanachos of Maamarim said by the Rebbe in 5726 that were never previously published.

The discovery came when a Shiur Daled bochur, following the finding of another recently discovered Maamar, was encouraged to look through his family’s archives for additional materials. While searching through his grandfather’s home, he came across handwritten notes containing two Maamarim that had remained hidden for over 60 years.

These were not just forgotten pages — they were the words of the Rebbe as they were said at a farbrengen more than six decades ago. Just over 60 years after the Rebbe delivered these Maamarim, these handwritten notes have now been brought to light, allowing Chassidim to once again learn the Maamarim in their original form.

The notes were found to be the Rebbe’s Maamarim delivered at the farbrengens of Parshas Vayeishev and Parshas Mikeitz 5726 — Maamarim that, until now, had not been available to the public.

In honor of Yud-Beis–Yud-Gimmel Tammuz and the beginning of the centennial year of the Frierdiker Rebbe’s liberation, Machon Lehafotzas Toraso Shel Moshiach has prepared and published these Maamarim in booklet form, making them available for Anash.

The newly published Maamarim contain a vast amount of material that was not included in the edited version later printed in Kuntres Chanukah 5752. The newly revealed text offers a rare opportunity to learn the Maamarim as they were originally delivered at the farbrengen, together with extensive Marei Mekomos and backround information prepared by Machon Lehafotzas Toraso Shel Moshiach.

The timing of this discovery carries special significance. We are approaching 100 years since the Frierdiker Rebbe’s liberation after his arrest for spreading Chassidus. Ninety-nine years later, the mission continues — Chassidim are still working tirelessly to spread the Rebbe’s Torah and bring hidden treasures of Chassidus to light.

This discovery serves as a powerful reminder that there are still many priceless pieces of the Rebbe’s Torah waiting to be uncovered. A handwritten page sitting in a private collection can become a new source of learning and inspiration for thousands.

The booklet will be available this Shabbos in 770 and in the shuls of Crown Heights.

As part of this ongoing effort, Machon Lehafotzas Toraso Shel Moshiach continues searching for additional manuscripts, recordings, and archival materials related to the Rebbe’s Torah. Anyone who is aware of private collections, archives, or repositories that may contain materials that have not yet been thoroughly examined is encouraged to reach out.

If you have any leads that may help uncover additional unpublished Torah, please contact: torasmoshiachsales@gmail.com.

Every lead has the potential to help preserve and bring another piece of the Rebbe’s Torah to light for the benefit of Klal Yisroel.
