by COLlive Editor · COLliveThe 11th annual Kinus Mechanchos Chabad taking place on the 21-22 Av / August 4-5 in Stamford, CT, will feature a track of Hebrew sessions to accommodate the growing group of Hebrew speaking Mechanchos who attend each year.
The expanded Kinus in honor of 50 years of Mivtzah Chinuch, is not only extending its program with additional workshops and an Ohel program the night before, on 20 Av / August 3, but expanding to reach Mechanchos who might have not been able to attend in the past due the language barrier.
Mrs. Rivka Holzman, veteran high school and seminary educator in Israel and the U.S., will be leading the Hebrew track. Schools in South America, Panama, Europe and more have expressed interest in sending teachers for the first time. They will be joining the international representation of Mechanchos from English speaking countries including Australia and South Africa, making this year’s Kinus a true celebration of Chinuch worldwide.
MEF looks forward to providing the Kinus experence to Mechanchos who are more comfortable speaking in Hebrew, and presenters in the Ivrit track will include: Rabbi Menachem Mendel Gluckowsky, Mrs. Batsheva Deren, Mrs. Sari Mockin and Mrs. Rivka Holzman. This is an addition to the six full English speaking tracks for every grade level and role in Chinuch, offered simultaneously for Mechanchos to choose from. Transcending language and role, a musical performance by Moussia Mendelsohn will uplift all participants at the 11th annual gala Chinuch banquet. More details about the full Kinus program can be found at mymef.org/chinuchconvention.org/program.
Discounted spots to the Kinus Mechanchos are almost sold out. Register at chinuchconvention.org. To register in Ivrit, click the option for the Hebrew registration form.
