Kettle & Cord on Kingston Ave. is Closing Shop

Kettle & Cord announced it will be closing its home goods store on Kingston Avenue in Crown Heights after 10 years of operation.

Announcement from the owners of Kettle & Cord, the home goods store at 390 Kingston Avenue in Crown Heights:

Ten years ago, we opened Kettle & Cord hoping to build a store that would serve our community well. As we prepare to close our doors, what we are most grateful for is the relationship we built with all of you.

Over the years, you chose to shop with us, recommended us to friends and family, and trusted us to help you find what you needed for your homes. Some of you have been with us from the very beginning. Others discovered us along the way. To every one of you: thank you.

It has been an honor and a pleasure to serve you. The conversations, the familiar faces, and the customers we came to know personally have meant so much to us. Those everyday encounters are what we will remember most.

Having the store also gave us opportunities to give back and support the community in many different ways. That was one of the most meaningful parts of owning Kettle & Cord. Your support made those opportunities possible, and we are deeply grateful that this business allowed us to contribute to a community that has given us so much.

We have made the decision to close the store. There is sadness in saying goodbye, but there is also tremendous appreciation for the ten years we have shared with you. We wanted to take this moment to acknowledge that support and tell you how much it has meant.

For approximately the next ten days, we will be holding a closing sale, with significant discounts on our remaining merchandise as we work to sell through our inventory. We invite you to stop in, take advantage of the savings, and give us the chance to thank you in person.

To our customers, friends, and neighbors: thank you for welcoming us, supporting us, and allowing Kettle & Cord to be part of your lives and homes.

With heartfelt gratitude,
The Owners of Kettle & Cord
