Noble values in Christmas also foundation of Sarawak’s harmony, unity — Awg Tengah

KUCHING (Dec 25): The values of love, compassion, generosity and peace, which are embodied in the celebration of Christmas, are fundamental pillars that underpin harmony and unity in Sarawak’s multicultural society, said Deputy Premier Datuk Amar Awang Tengah Ali Hasan.

“These values transcend religious and cultural differences, and contribute to social stability and the unique harmony that defines Sarawak.

“May this festive season bring peace into our homes, hope into our hearts, and renewed strength as we move forward together,” he said in his Christmas and New Year message published by the Sarawak Public Communications Unit.

Awang Tengah also called on Sarawakians to continue embracing these values in their daily lives.

“I hope Sarawakians will renew their commitment towards working together to strengthen unity, empower communities, and build a more inclusive, sustainable, and prosperous Sarawak for future generations,” he said.
