KOTA KINABALU (Nov 1): Integrated property developer KTI Landmark Berhad (KTI) was named among the recipients of the Quality Assessment System in Construction (QLASSIC) award at the QUEST 2024 event organised by the Construction Industry Development Board (CIDB) Malaysia.

Datuk Dr Gordon Loke, Group Managing Director and CEO of KTI, said the recognition was obtained through the company’s Taman Seri Lemawang housing project in Tuaran with Sabah Housing and Urban Development (LPPB).

“We are honoured to receive the CIDB National QLASSIC awards for Phase 1F and 1G of Taman Seri Lemawang. This achievement reflects our dedication to utilizing advanced construction techniques like Industrialised Building System (IBS) to deliver superior quality and value to our customers, in line with the government’s aspirations for Malaysian construction industry players to fully adopt IBS,” he added.

By leveraging IBS, KTI not only improved the speed and precision of the construction process but also elevated the overall quality and durability of the development whilst achieving cost efficiency through reduction of labour and material wastage in addition to promoting sustainable practices, reducing environmental impact and improved safety.

“This recognition highlights KTI’s continuous efforts to innovate and upgrade construction processes, setting new industry standards in Sabah’s real estate market.

In addition to Taman Seri Lemawang, KTI is also developing other landmark projects such as The Logg and Ayuria Place,” Loke further added.

Taman Seri Lemawang features 811 double-storey house units starting from RM250,000, complemented by modern amenities such as a central park, jogging track, basketball courts, gazebos and a playground.

This development is part of a larger 168-acre site, which also includes Residensi Seri Akasia with 480 apartment units priced from RM150,000, and Plaza Lemawang’s 60 shoplot units priced from RM608,000.

The development is KTI’s commitment to affordable housing through a significant collaboration with LPPB.
KTI’s Taman Seri Lemawang housing project had in September won the Special Award of Excellence in Construction for Sabah QLASSIC Programme 2023 and a 4-star rating from the CIDB.

KTI’s recent CIDB accolades highlight its strong commitment to quality and performance in the construction industry. As the company continues to set ambitious benchmarks, it remains dedicated to refining its practices and striving for even greater success in future projects.
