Fire completely destroys car at Jalan Penrissen, no injuries reported

A firefighter extinguishes the fire that completely destroyed a car at Mile 8 Jalan Penrissen early this morning.

KUCHING (Nov 18): A car was completely destroyed after it caught fire at Mile 8, Jalan Penrissen here early this morning.

The Fire and Rescue Department (Bomba) said they received a call on the incident at 2.25am, and firefighters from the Siburan fire station were despatched to the scene.

“Upon arrival, it was found that the car was 100 per cent destroyed. The driver was safe and did not sustain any injury,” it added.

Bomba said the fire was successfully extinguished, and after ensuring that the situation was safe and under control, the firefighters concluded their operation.
