IRB: Mandatory e-CKHT submissions for RPGT forms begins Jan 1

KUCHING (Nov 25): The submission of the Real Property Gains Tax (RPGT) forms electronically via e-CKHT platform on the MyTax portal will be mandatory from Jan 1, 2025, said the Inland Revenue Board (IRB).

In a statement, IRB said the submission of RPGT forms can be made at https://mytax.hasil.gov.my/.

“Log in to MyTax by selecting the type of identification and entering your password. If you do not have a Tax Identification Number (TIN), you can apply for one through the e-Daftar link on MyTax.

“Next, select the ezHASIL Services menu > eCKHT, choose the appropriate BNCKHT form, and fill in the required details.”

It also mentioned that authorised lawyers and licensed tax agents appointed by taxpayers are permitted to access e-CKHT system via TAeF System version 2.0 for tax agents and Lawyer Role on MyTax portal for lawyers.

“IRB is committed to enhancing service quality by becoming a more flexible and dynamic facilitator, ensuring it remains relevant while exceeding expectations.

“The mandatory implementation of e-CKHT aligns with the technological transformation and digitalisation of tax services, enabling taxpayers to manage their Real Property Gains Tax matters without needing to visit IRB offices.”.
